Renovations

City of Melbourne are kindly renovating our Clubhouse to modernise it and make it disability compliant. Demolition will commence on 30 January and handover is currently scheduled to take place on 12 March. This is a fantastic thing for the Club – our Clubhouse will be renovated, flooded with natural light, and will open up through the west wall to the garden. We are very lucky.
Members and players will be able to access all four courts throughout the renovation. However during this time we will not have access to the Clubhouse. This is inconvenient, especially at the busiest time of the year, but worth it for a new Clubhouse. There may be times where access to the courts through the gate will be impossible, but please continue to book courts via the website as usual and follow the directions of the contractors to gain access to the courts.
In the meantime, the nearest toilet is north of Court 1, just off the running track on Princes Park Drive, near the playground.

25 March
The courts will close at 9pm for the week of 26-30 March. This is because the path is being resurfaced and we have no access to the keypad for turning on the lights.
9 March
Estimated completion and handover is now the end of March.
30 January
The Clubhouse has been emptied into the storage container on the hitting wall outside the garden. Demolition is due to commence on 31 March, so the Clubhouse is now officially out of action.
7 January
PHTC President Peter has met with the Council and the Project Managers on site to discuss access etc.
